This is full bodied with a concentrated palate and a rich texture. It is perfectly balanced with soft tannins, ripe cherry and plum fruits, notes of violet and hints of vanilla. Great accompaniment for game dishes, beef and lamb.

This Appasimento is made from carefully selected Negroamaro, Malvasia Nero, Merlot and Cabernet grapes. The grapes were prepared using the Appasimento method which is the process of natural, partial dehydration of the grapes. In this drying process the grapes lose 30% of their water content causing there to be a higher concentration of sugars and flavours. The result is a complex and very fruity wine.
