This is an approachable, elegant style of claret, 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. It is deeply coloured with hues of purply blue, a very expressive nose with fruit aromas and woody notes. Pairs well with beef dishes and lamb.

The Chateau la Pointe Bouquey covers 13 hectares of vines located near the village of Saint Emilion. The vineyards are planted with three different grape varieties - Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. The estate has been managed by the Pendenat family since the beginning of the 19th century.
