Medium amber in colour, this is a dry wine with spices, nuts and citrus peel on the nose. The slightly smoky aroma with walnuts, apricots and vanilla transfers onto the palate with mild acidity and an extraordinarily long finish. Delicious chilled as an aperitif or serve with freshly roasted and salted nuts.

Madeira is a fortified wine made on the island of Madeira and Sercial is the driest of all Madeira styles made from the Sercial grape variety. Sercial is one of the four recognised styles of this wine, the others being Verdelho, Bual and Malvasia (Malmsey).
