The Penderyn Sherrywood has been aged in ex-bourbon barrels and ex-Oloroso sherry casks to bring out its rich, fruity flavours. There are dark fruit aromas and rich toffee on the nose with apple and hazelnut hints. The palate has rich sweetness giving way to a refreshing dryness and the lingering finish has notes of toffee and sultanas.
