Alsace is a historical region in north-eastern France on the Rhine river plain bordering Germany and Switzerland. It is an exceptional setting for the production of wine and the wines of Alsace are primarily about aromas and boast floral and peachy scents with a rich texture.  The Gewurztraminer is produced by Maison Arthur Metz, a beautiful winery in the heart of the renowned “Couronnes d’ Or” (golden crown) in the charming village of Marlenheim. Arthur Metz’s vineyard was created by the winegrowers of the 19 villages in the Couronnes d’ Or resulting in the vineyard being cultivated by the very best and today producing nothing but the finest wines.
